The tiny New England village of Trinity is once again the setting for “The Empty Christmas Stocking”. Timothy, Amanda, and Sandra Tea garden are trying to put together Christmas gift lists for their friends and family. As Christmas draws nearer, Sandra realizes that they have left a very important person off their lists. With the help of their parents, the Teagarden children give gifts of love, compassion, forgiveness, and friendship to the people of Trinity, and in turn, fill the once-empty Christmas stocking hanging from the fireplace mantle.

Laurence M. Haynes is a licensed land surveyor whose hobbies include music, sports, and illustration. His interest in illustration and wanting to influence the lives of young people in a faith-filled and positive way has led to the creation of this book and three previously published books entitled The Christmas Time Travelers, The Littlest Patriots, and The Vanishing Doorknob. A father of three adult daughters, Catherine, Christina, and Bernadette, he is an active member of St. Edward the Confessor Parish in Syosset, New York, where he and his wife Amy reside.
